A Daring Train Robbery
Kolkata February,2023: Cash and valuables worth Rs. 100,000 were looted in the Delhi-Nilachal Express between Kharagpur and Bankura at about 8 p.m. yesterday by four people armed with revolvers, according to the police. It is reported that four people entered the compartment of the running train and forced a businessman to pay Rs. 75,000 and demanded many wrist-watches and ornaments from other passengers at revolver point. The operation was done silently and casually in a few minutes and the robbers fled with the valuables.
The police are investigating the matter. So far no culprit has been arrested.
